Michael is the COO of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” concept founded in 2007. Michael is responsible for MOOYAH’s overall growth and operational strategy along with all day-to-day business. Under his guidance, the brand is set to hit 100 locations by the end of 2015, including locations in six new states. Michael has held a variety of roles in the restaurant industry since starting with a catering business he developed in 1989, followed by successful stints at Brinker International and Cutchall Management Company, before joining the MOOYAH team in 2009.

Michael entered Chronic Tacos Enterprises in 2012 as CEO—bringing 15 years of finance and management experience. Michael and his brothers helped finance Chronic Tacos’ Canadian expansion in 2010, granting firsthand experience of the company’s unique culture. Instantly recognizing its potential, the brothers purchased a controlling stake in Chronic Tacos, where they have since strengthened the culture and positioned the brand for long-term growth.
