As director and head of diversity, equity, inclusion and engagement, Idris Stover leads Shake Shack’s commitment to Stand For Something Good® that ensures the company is building a more equitable and inclusive society, reflected in the company workforce and communities where Shake Shack serves. Idris joined the company in 2020 to drive strategy, execution and accountability for Shake Shack’s diversity and inclusion programming and ongoing progress for change. As part of her role, she partners with internal stakeholders and C-suite executives including the CEO, Chief People Officer, talent acquisition and talent and leadership development teams to ensure a lens for diversity and inclusion is applied across all human capital business practices. She also works closely with the organization’s employee resource groups and diversity councils to help foster a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all. Prior to joining Shake Shack, Idris was a Senior Manager of Global Diversity and Inclusion at Hilton, and previously led diversity and affirmative action programs at BB&T.
